Bighorn National Forest

The Forest is nearing the end of a NEPA process covering 44 allotments, nearly half the entire Forest. So far, the Forest has ignored the problems caused by the extremely high stocking rates common on the Forest as well as its Sensitive Species duties. Only a few bighorn sheep remain on the Bighorn National Forest due to the toxic effects of permitting domestic sheep to graze in bighorn sheep habitat. We expect the final decision to warrant judicial review.
