McQuaid Allotment

As a result of WWP oversight, this allotment was removed of the larger NEPA process headed up by the Salida Ranger District, which is currently being litigated in Federal court. In response to a FOIA request received after the EA comment deadline, WWP discovered that the Forest Service knew about and had documented a wide range of severe impacts cause by permitted livestock grazing on the allotment. Unfortunately for the Forest Service, they completely ignored their own data and observations in violation of NEPA.
