Tushar Allotments Collaboration

To resolve an appeal of a decision on 8 grazing allotments in the Tushar Mountains, the Grand Canyon Trust along with conservation partners including WWP entered into a long-term collaborative process between the Forest Service, the permittees and conservation organizations to improve degraded resources within the area. The primary collaborative process has been completed (final report at https://projects.ecr.gov/tushar/ ) with some significant progress being made both on the ground and in understanding. The critical issue now is to insure that the management changes made on a short-term basis as part of the process are made permanent. WWP will continue its participation to insure that the progress made is not lost.
