The Greenfire Revival this year is dedicated to
the recovery of wolves in the United States.
All readers of WWP's Online Messenger are
invited to join WWP staff and Board at the 3rd
Annual Greenfire Revival and Camp Out which will
be held the evening of Friday September 12
through breakfast on Sunday September 14 at
WWP's Greenfire Preserve on the East Fork of the
Salmon River in Custer County, Idaho.
This is a great opportunity to celebrate the
restoration underway at the Preserve and meet
old friends and new.

Friday evening September 12 will feature a
potluck dinner, a showing of Vanessa Schulz'
excellent wolf reintroduction documentary,
Cost of Freedom, followed by a talk by wolf
reintroduction expert Dr. Ralph Maughan about
the current condition of wolf packs in Idaho,
Montana, and Wyoming.
Saturday September 13 will feature Preserve and
nearby public land tours including WWP's upland
and riparian restoration efforts, games
including cowpie shuffleboard and an appearance
by Cowzilla, three great meals including an
evening cook-out with a salmon barbecue with
Supervisory Chefs Don Curtis and Gene Bray
followed by an outdoor concert by folksingers
Kate and Jeff Bennett.
Breakfast will be provided Sunday morning
September 14.
Cost is $35. per person for WWP members and $55.
per person for non-members.
Come and enjoy late summer at WWP's Greenfire
Preserve. There is a good chance that there will
be spawning chinook salmon in the river, and any
dedicated western lifestylers can wrangle with
the local wild horse herd currently in residence
at Greenfire.
No smoking is permitted in the Greenfire House
or any other buildings, and dogs must be kept on
leash.
