Denzel Ferguson Dies

One of the giants of western lands advocacy and reform has died. Dr. Denzel Ferguson died yesterday in Oregon. Denzel Ferguson along with his wife, Nancy, co-wrote the seminal public lands ranching book. "Sacred Cows at the Public Trough", in the early 1980's. As an advocate for positive change and as a spokesman for the restoration of our vast western landscapes decimated by public lands ranching, Denzel Ferguson will never be equaled.

Idaho Watersheds Project sends its sincere condolences to Nancy Ferguson, and looks forward to the day when the vision of Denzel Ferguson will be achieved across our western public lands.
