This litigation was brought to protect unburned sage grouse habitat after the gigantic 2007 Murphy Complex fire burned more than 600,000 acres of sage grouse habitat in the Jarbidge Field Office of the BLM.
The public lands are located in southwest Twin Falls and southeast Owyhee Counties in southern Idaho.
