Capitol Reef National Park

Two active livestock grazing allotments still remain in this National Park. Unlike BLM lands, there is actually a funding mechanism to allows for the permanent closure of these two remaining allotments. WWP is at the beginning stages of looking at resource conditions, and the laws and regulations governing management of this National Park in order to help facilitate a resolution to conflicts between the purposes for which the Capitol Reef National Park was established and the grandfathered livestock operations.
