Debra Ellers

WWP Western Idaho Director

Debra Ellers has been practicing law in Idaho since 1986 and is a Board Member of Wilderness Volunteers, a non-profit organization that works with public agencies to organize and promote volunteer services on public land.  Debra was an attorney for Holland and Hart, a Western regional law firm, in its Boise office, and Micron Technology, a global company headquartered in Boise, before establishing her own law practice in McCall, Idaho.

Debra is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law was a notes editor for the Virginia Journal of Natural Resources Law.  She received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Tennessee and was a Phi Beta Kappa, a National Merit Scholar, and graduated with High Honors.

A dedicated environmentalist and outdoor enthusiast, Debra and her husband, Dale Grooms, enjoy hiking, mountain biking and cross country skiing with their dog, Syri.
